My name is Fawna and I am the soap maker and designer here at Zodiac Spokane. I live with my family in Spokane, Washington. My soap making journey started one November years ago when my mom asked me to help her make soap to give as gifts for Yule.
I fell in love with the craft and when everything came to a screeching halt in March of 2020 I ended up re-evaluating my life. I realized that there was never going to be a better time to focus my energy on the future I wanted for myself and that is how Zodiac Spokane was born.
I wanted to create a business that emphasized the idea and practice of inclusion through something that everyone uses and needs. I want my little space in the world to be a place where everyone feels comfortable to be themselves, to be free to believe in fairies, and magic without the sting of social judgment. The libra in me wants all of us to love each other and shine as bright as possible.
